Important accomplishments
Environmental protection and sustainability:
Mission : Using less resources, recycle, lower energy consumption, removing toxic elements from our products and take part in creating a healthy environment. Being a technology company we influence the environment and sustainability through our energy dependence. To reduce these impacts we implemented energy saving programs in all offices worldwide. This includes the use of Energy Star certified products. We assist our employees in car pooling and use of public transport. DiagnostiX® is especially satisfied with its efforts of waste reduction most notably in product packaging. During the last years DiagnostiX® changed towards electronic delivery of products and updates. Recently we started an initiative to deliver all new releases for companies electronically and only deliver physical media to customers that request it. This is a win-win situation for all parties. Our customers can directly order, receive and install our products. We profit through cuts of costs at packaging. And the environment profits though reduces packaging waste and less emission of delivery cars. For products that are for sale to consumers in retail stores, DiagnostiX® was a pioneer in the software industry for less wasteful packaging.
DiagnostiX® is organizing recycling programs worldwide in all our offices. These programs include recycling of paper, metals and placstics. Beyond that we explore possibilities to assist the material cycle by using secondary use resources. Especially we started delivery of our high-end products (including software and hardware) for companies in brown recycling packages.
