Tachometer Setting |
|
We explicitly want to point out, that the following legal arrangement is only relevant for our German Office. Our foreign offices are not affected by this and keep selling in part (according to the current legal situation in the corresponding country) OBD systems for tachometer setting. Please contact our office in Armenia with your requests about this. Since August 2005 the valid #22b of the Straßenverkehrsgesetz (Traffic Law) exists. Thus our German office cannot offer any products about tachometer settings any more. Here an extract of the legal arrangement:
§ 22b StVG Abuse of tachometers and speed limiters

limits or nullifies the intended function of a speed limiter in a vehicle by interacting with the device or
3.
prepares a felony based on section 1 or 2 by creating, distributing, offering or surrendering computerprograms that have a purpose of committing such an action.
(2)
In cases of Section 1 number 3 §149 Section 2 Paragraph 2 and 3 of the Strafgesetzbuch [penal code] is valid.
(3)
Items that refer to the felony of section 1 paragraph 1 can be seized. §74 of the Strafgesetzbuch [penal code] has to be applied.
